So, what do I charge for my services?

For most jobs, I charge a flat fee, so neither of us will hyperventilate when it's time for the bill. My fee includes an initial consultation (up to one hour), the writing itself, and unlimited revisions for 30 days after I submit a first draft (assuming, of course, that the scope of the original project doesn't change).

Of course, we can either build additional services into the initial agreement. We can also add services as we go along at my regular rate of $75 per hour.

In a hurry? Not a problem! I'll be glad to accept your rush job, as long as I am sure I can do an excellent job within your time constraints. A rush fee will be added to the total bill, in the amount of $100 or 10% of the fee, whichever is greater.

No job is too big or too small, but I do have a two-hour minimum charge ($150). Please note that I also charge a "kill fee," which means that if you decide not to finish the project, you'll still owe me for the work I did before you told me to stop ($75 per hour up to the project price).

Payment Terms: As soon as I receive your deposit of 50% of my fee, I can begin working on your project. The rest of my fee is due when I give you a first draft. If you're a returning client, my payment terms may be negotiable, depending on your past payment history and the nature of the project.
